Several studies are expressing a growing concern that after school
programs are pressurizing babies to do much soon. They point out
that when a kid's afternoon is filled with classes, journeys, sports and
other forms of organized activities, babies do not get the time to be
babies. They are even being deprived of the cherished relatives time.
In an ideal world, all babies would go home directly after school to
loving and caring parents who are waiting for the babies to come home.
But the social and economic realities show that lots of babies must
attend after school courses because there is no available at home. For
such babies, these classes are a boon.
Without a doubt, there's babies who are being burdened with a schedule
that places much demand on their time. This leads to increased levels
of stress on the child and the relatives. As regular studies cannot be
ignored, babies are always on the run to accomplish more. Such
babies are bearing a burden that is heavy for their frail
tiny shoulders.
Parents ought to however restrain themselves from reading much in to
these activities. After school programs are complimentary in nature. They
give additional support. Therefore, their importance ought to even be
limited.
